Exterior Detailing
There are two ways to clean a private jet on the outside: a wet wash or a dry wash.
A wet wash uses water and cleaning products made for aircraft. The water pressure is kept low so it doesn’t push into seals or panel gaps. The jet is cleaned one part at a time and rinsed off before anything dries. It’s a solid clean, but you need water on site and you have to be careful not to get water into any sensitive areas.
A dry wash is typically a rinseless wash, which works by lifting the dirt off the surface with a lubricated solution, then wiping it away with soft cloths. No water needed. This works well at airports with no water access or strict drainage rules, while giving you more control over the cleaning, such as wiping around the sensors and antennas.
Both methods use products made for aircraft paint. Normal car products should not be used on a private jet.

Interior Detailing
Private jet interior detailing is usually split into levels. What your cabin needs depends on how dirty it is and how long it’s been since the last clean.
Light detail - all surfaces wiped down. Seats, tray tables, armrests, galley, lavatory, bins. Every material needs the right product. Leather gets a leather-safe cleaner. Veneer and gloss trims need a soft product and soft cloths so nothing gets scratched. The wrong product on the wrong surface can cause damage. That’s why private jet detailing needs to be done by people with training and knowledge of which chemicals to use.
The light clean is what you’d get between flights. Quick, clean, and ready for the next person on board - or if your own jet isn’t too dirty.
A deeper clean is when you want a full reset. The leather deep cleaned and conditioned. Soft surfaces steam cleaned. Carpets washed and extracted to pull all the dirt out. Galley cleaned and sanitised. Whole cabin sanitised. This is for when things have built up over time, after an intensive charter period, or you’re selling and need it looking like new.
