Cleaning that fits a short day and a tight apron.
London City is unlike any other London field: a single short runway in the middle of the Royal Docks, a steep approach that not every aircraft is certified for, and an operating day that closes early on Saturday. The clean has to fit that, not the other way round.
A genuinely short day
London City closes to traffic from Saturday lunchtime until Sunday midday. If your aircraft is on the ground across that window, it is often the best time to do proper work - nothing is waiting on the stand behind you.
Minutes from the City
The airport sits in the Royal Docks, a short run from Canary Wharf and the City. Passengers here are usually on tight schedules, so a cabin that looks wrong is noticed immediately.
Between meetings
Same-day return trips are the norm at London City. A quick cabin reset while the aircraft waits - glass, leather, galley, lavatory - means the return leg feels like the outbound.
Based in the South East
For aircraft using London City regularly we run recurring cleans planned around your movements. Our South East coverage also takes in Biggin Hill, Northolt, Luton and Stansted if you reposition.
Built in the Royal Docks and opened in 1987, London City trades runway length for location - it is minutes from Canary Wharf and the City, which is the entire point of it. The approach is steeper than standard at 5.5 degrees, so both aircraft and crews need specific certification to use it. The operating day runs 06:30 to 22:00 on weekdays, closes at 12:30 on Saturday and does not reopen until 12:30 on Sunday.
On a fast turnaround, the clean has to fit the window you have - not the other way round.
Exterior: from quick between-flight wash-downs to full rinseless washes, belly degreasing, brightwork polishing and sealant application.
Interior: from fast cabin resets to deep cleans with leather conditioning, carpet extraction and full galley and lavatory sanitisation. Every product is aviation-approved and matched to the surface it touches.
A single pre-departure clean, or a managed schedule for a based aircraft - the result is the same: a trained crew, a checklist standard, and a completion report noting any damage with before-and-after photographs sent to your inbox.

FAQ
London City questions, answered.
We work to 3 hours’ notice at London City for urgent jobs. Traffic across London is the variable rather than the distance, so the earlier you tell us the better we can plan the run in.
Often that is the ideal window. The airport is shut from Saturday lunchtime until Sunday midday, so an aircraft sitting through it can have proper work done without a slot pressing behind it. Access still has to be arranged with your handler.
Yes, and it is common here. A focused cabin reset on a short ground stop covers glass, leather, galley and lavatory - the things a passenger actually touches - without going near the turnaround time.
Yes - Biggin Hill, Northolt, Luton, Stansted and Oxford among others. If London City timings do not suit, we can often do the work wherever the aircraft positions next.
It depends on the aircraft and how deep a clean you need. London City handles smaller types than most London fields, which usually means shorter jobs. Send the form above and we will price it properly.
London City: a few things worth knowing.
A little context on the airport your aircraft is parked at.
Built in the Royal Docks
London City opened in 1987 on the site of the former King George V Dock, part of the regeneration of Docklands. The water on either side of the runway is the original dock.
A 5.5-degree approach
The glideslope is roughly twice as steep as standard, to clear the buildings around it. Aircraft and crews both need specific approval, which is why the based fleet skews to particular types.
Closed Saturday afternoon
The airport shuts at 12:30 on Saturday and stays closed until 12:30 on Sunday - a genuine quiet period written into how it operates, and a useful window for unhurried work.
The shortest runway in London
At well under half the length of Heathrow’s, the runway rules out larger types entirely. It is the reason London City feels like a business airport rather than a scaled-down hub.
Minutes from Canary Wharf
The DLR runs into the terminal, and Canary Wharf is a few stops away. For a same-day meeting it is hard to beat on total door-to-door time.
A weekday airport by design
Traffic is heavily weighted to weekday mornings and evenings, following the business day. Ground time in the middle of the day is often easier to work with than at a 24-hour field.
